1-SAGAMORE HILL : Way up in the north east corner of Nassau County is one of the nations most famous houses. The home of the 26th President of the United States, Sagamore Hill. Theodore Roosevelt lived in this house for a good part of his adult life and the home served as the summer White House during his presidency. The home is filled with antiques and memorabilia from his long and eventful life. Take a guided tour of the 23-room mansion and then tour the beautiful grounds that lead down to the Long Island Sound.
